Giving Tuesday is a worldwide philanthropic event, harnessing the generosity of millions to support the causes they believe in and the communities in which they live.


United Way was a founding member of Giving Tuesday back in 2012 when it was established as a celebratory kickoff to the holiday giving season. The one-day giving event needed a rock-solid digital campaign that supported United Way Worldwide and could easily be customized for local United Ways to help harness the power of giving and amplify donations for this nonprofit. 


A robust digital campaign was designed for United Way that included several social posts, customizable templates, emails, landing page copy and visuals, videos, paid assets, and more. These efforts helped support over 20 million people the following year, with over 30 million meals served and 18,000 medical bills paid.
